How to take care of health

We are constantly bombarded with tips and suggestions on how to lead better lives. We often end up doing nothing due to feeling overwhelmed to make a change! Here are 10 easy and a few not so traditional tips to start improving your health and overall well-being.

1. Preparation:Preparation might not seem like a traditional health tip, but it really is the foundation on which to build good habits, which then determine your results. Get a notebook out and start “predicting what the future holds for you” by creating L-Glutathione 1000 mg  a plan of action that spans all areas within your daily life. Think about which parts of your life aren’t working and jot down effective strategies to bring you closer to your targets.

For example, I exercise at least three times per week and eat five or more fruits and vegetables every day (write out what food items I am eating as well as the time of each) and control my anxiety level by taking a break for an hour every day.

This is about making sure you are aware of precisely what you need to take to achieve your want to achieve.

2. Accountability

When we begin any new routine or habit that requires a push to get started. I dislike using the words willpower and motivation because they are such fickle feelings that can change on a day to day basis. There is no need for willpower for brushing our teeth each morning, and neither do we need it to be motivated for a healthy lifestyle!

It’s important to clarify your goals before forming the outline of your plan of action, and then get into it. I recommended seeking an expert to help create a strategy and hold you accountable. This really helps, especially until the habit becomes a part of you.

3. Avoid “Diets”

Who hasn’t heard about the cabbage soup diet? Or yourself tried a bizarre diet that eliminated 90% of your regular foods! Dieting or going on some food plan that is drastically different from your usual eating habits will just make you more vulnerable to failure. In the short-term, you might lose a few pounds. However, I’m sure that some weeks after stopping your “diet” you will gain back at least as much weight than you did before. It’s true that “diets” aren’t enjoyable or practical, so they do not last long. We know what “good” food items are, but because of our lack of time or knowledge about how to cook certain foods, we take shortcuts. Try to introduce more “good” food items in your diet.

4. Be careful what you eat

Alongside the tip 3 above, it’s vital to feed your body with proper nutrients. Aim to have a big nutritious breakfast that is rich in protein, a small serve of carbohydrates , and some fat. For example, 2 eggs, toast with wholegrain and two small scoops of avocado. This breakfast can keep you going through the day. Consume 3-4 meals a day, or whenever your body requires it. Certain people opt for high protein diets because it makes them feel more energetic . Also, some prefer lighter meals. Contact a professional for extra help.

5. Cardio Exercise

A healthy and balanced plan of action is without exercise! Exercise is crucial in living a healthy life of energy, aging better and becoming healthier. It can affect all areas of your daily life, including your sleeping patterns, stress levels and digestion. Try different forms of exercise to see which ones you prefer. Make sure you do some sort of cardio every day as well as resistance training and flexibility exercises several times per month (stretches or yoga) in order to build more healthful body.

6. Sleep

Because we live very busy lives It is the sleep which is sacrificed in order that we can add more to our daily lives. The lack of sleep can cause an ineffective immune system, and increase your risk of sickness, grogginess and stress. The majority of adults require between 6 and 8 hours of sleep at night. You decide which amount will leave you feeling alert and vibrant the next morning. Set a timer for sleep by allowing yourself time relax at the end of the night in a way that works for you.

7. Digestion

Digestive health is the foundation of good health. If you’re not having good digestion, then your body won’t absorb nutrients you get from your meals. A healthy bowel can prevent illnesses and contribute to feeling and looking healthier. If you are experiencing constipation, it could cause headaches and even muscle and joint pain. Your digestive system communicates with the rest of your body. It can impact positively on the overall health. If you suspect that you’re getting a bit bloated, begin increasing fiber gradually in your diet. Drink 1.5-2 Liters of water a every day to help things move ahead and look at the areas in your life that contribute to an inconsolable colon. Stress, eating while distracted or eating certain foods, and inadequate exercise can all be culprits.

8. Stress

Stress, in general, can be beneficial for us since it encourages us to keep moving forward and achieving your goals. A constant stress, can trigger headaches, anxiety as well as insomnia, if it is allowed to run wild. Stress can manifest itself in a multiple of ways; snapping at your partner, awakening at 3am every day, feeling tired after 8 hours of sleep, feeling depressed or just plain “blah”.

I’m not suggesting soaking in a bubble bath or nipping off for massages to relieve your anxiety as they are not permanent solutions. The solution lies with examining your habits and seeing what areas of your life are causing you to feel overwhelmed. Our happiness in life is in direct proportion to the amount of control we feel that we have over our lives. If you’re stressing over being overweight, make a change! If a relationship leaves you feeling exhausted and discontent, then you need to make a big decision regarding your long-term health. Stress management is a continual process of managing your lifestyle so you feel more in control.
